Founded in November, 1979, Fujian
Science and Technology Publishing
House (FSTPH) is a medium-sized
comprehensive press, publishing
some 400 titles of books annually
about agriculture technology, traditional
Chinese & Western medicine,
electronics & electrical engineering,
architectural ornament, public health
protection, and comprehensive popular
science in the forms of applied
technical readings, references,
academic monographs and popular
science readings. So far the FSTPH
has set up five editorial departments
of agricultural technology, medicine
& public health, electronics
& electrical engineering, overseas
co-publication and comprehensive
& popular science. Since its
establishment of over twenty years,
the FSTPH has published nearly 3,000
titles of books, and has formed
its own characteristics in the categories
of electronics & electrical
engineering, traditional Chinese
medicine and architectural ornament.
Among them, about 300 titles have
won prizes in various awards appraisement
activities above the provincial
level.In 2000, FSTPH was titled
the “National Good Publishing House”
by the Press and Publication Administration
of the People’s Republic of China.
The fundamental policy FSTPH should
observe is “based on Fujian, serving
the whole country and strengthening
cooperation with overseas partners”.
The cardinal principle FSTPH should
pursue is “based on market, close
to readers; quality first, contents
best; man most precious, and faith
most valuable”.
It is our sacred mission to spread
the knowledge of science and technology
and to promote human civilization.
In the new century, the whole staff
members of FSTPH will carry out
the spirit of “Unity, Pioneering,
Professional Dedication and Down-to-earth
Approach”. We will speed up development,
try to establish the brand name
and build up our strength, cooperating
with our partners to make contributions
to the human civilization and social
progress.
