福建科学技术出版社，成立于1979年11月，是一家年出书400余种的中等规模的出版社，曾被评为“全国良好出版社”“全国图书版权输出先进出版单位”“服务农村服务基层先进单位”等荣誉称号，2018年被总局批准确立为第二批专业数字内容资源知识服务模式试点单位。具有图书、电子出版物、互联网出版资质，下设农业编辑室、健康编辑室、中医药编辑室、第一综合编辑室、第二综合编辑室、第三综合编辑室等6个编辑部门，主要出版理工医农等各类应用技术读物、科普知识读物及学术专著，并在中医中药、大众健康、园艺宠物、室内设计、少儿科普等门类上形成特色与规模。建社近40年来，已出版图书11000多种，有600余种图书在国家级、省部级图书评奖中获得殊荣，并先后承担近30项国家级重大出版项目的实施。
       福建科学技术出版社通过版权输出、实物输出、出版合作等形式积极发展对外文化交流，先后与50多家境外出版机构建立了良好的合作关系，多年来共输出版权80多种，引进版权300多种，共有900多种（套）、30多万册图书销往海外市场，有近10种图书以英文版形式直销欧美市场。

      Founded in November, 1979, Fujian Science and Technology Publishing House (FSTPH) is a medium-sized comprehensive press, publishing some 400 titles of books annually about agriculture technology, traditional Chinese & Western medicine, electronics & electrical engineering, architectural ornament, public health protection, and comprehensive popular science in the forms of applied technical readings, references, academic monographs and popular science readings. Since its establishment of 40 years, the FSTPH is generally accepted that it has formed distinctive characteristics in the traditional Chinese medicine, public health, pet & gardening and architectural ornament.
      The FSTPH has always adhered to the principle of “based on market, close to readers; quality first, contents best; man most precious, and honesty most valuable”. It is our sacred mission to spread the knowledge of science and technology and to promote human civilization.
